Position Title: Head – HRSS, Sodexo Business Services

Role Location: Mumbai, Nesco

Role Reporting: Center Director and Global HR Process Owner of GBS (Dual reporting)

  • To direct HR Shared Service arm of SBS Mumbai Center on both strategic and operational front. Ensure efficient delivery of the HR process areas, business partnering & performance management for all regions and entities supported by SBS Mumbai.
  • To lead and manage budgets, process simplification and improvements and dimensions of efficiency.
  • To ensure strong collaboration across entities, regions, clients, stakeholders, vendors for success of delivery.
  • To be responsible for transition and transformation of new HR processes and/or entities into Mumbai SBS.
  • To lead the AS-IS and TO-BE operational processes.
  • To spearhead transformation of all HR processes in scope.
  • To maintain adherence to internal controls while driving the processes for Sodexo entities.
  • To drive the culture of continuous improvements to bring efficiency in business results.
  • To drive people retention, people development and utilization for HRSS organization.
  • To support evaluation and implementation of HR technology tools in partnership with HR transformation organization in context with business requirement and impact.

Context and main issues:

  • SBS Mumbai supports global Sodexo entities with very different sizes including APMEA, NorAm and parts of HO (France) and Europe. SBS hosts many diverse functions and resources that are billed to more than one function or more than one country at a time. Currently, the HRSS hosts Payroll support to 5 counties in APMEA, Talent Acquisition support to 3 countries in APMEA and L&D Administration support to HQ.
  • To ensure efficient business partnering with stakeholders in Group, GBS, Regions, GSAs and Service Operations
  • Drive various reporting processes and adapt to fast changes reporting requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • This position is accountable for process delivery along with efficiency of HR Technology
  • Ensure Group guidelines and instructions on various processes are cascaded to Countries and complied.
  • Address queries from Sodexo HR community
  • Provide pertinent analysis; Provide enhanced visibility of Performance to various stakeholders
  • MBA Operations/ HR (Experienced Graduate with extensive experience in HR delivery organization)
  • 15+ years’ of HR work experience, including experience in HR Delivery, GBS/GCC Setups (preferably, multinational experience)
  • Functional experience in dimensions of HR including Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Employee Services, Employee Life Cycle Management and L&D.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to work across the globe, peering with Sodexo Senior Leadership team.
  • Experience in being a change agent, with track record of successfully managed & completed big organizational transformation projects.
  • Ability to quickly adapt with complex issue in fast changing environment
