To support our growing company, we are looking for a Head of Accounting (m/f/d) with German language skills. This position will be responsible for optimizing financial operations, implementing best practices and leading our international accounting team. • Lead and oversee the global finance department to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency across all countries.
• Develop and implement world-class accounting policies, procedures and controls to support strategic business objectives.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline operations and increase productivity.
• Providing strategic financial advice and insights to senior management to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning within the finance team to achieve excellence and achieve full potential.
• Work closely with our CFO and external auditors to lead annual financial audits.
• Coordinate all tax matters with external advisors to ensure compliance and minimize liabilities.
• Responsible for the introduction of a group-wide ERP and consolidation system.

• Several years of experience in senior finance positions within a multinational environment.
• Solid technical knowledge of accounting and proficiency in GAAP/IFRS standards, as well as specialist knowledge of international tax regulations and auditing principles.
• Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Strategic thinking and results-oriented focus to drive change and innovation.
• Required language skills: Fluent in English and German.
