In 2023, Swissport International AG provided best-in-class airport ground services for some 232 million airline passengers (2022: 186 million) and handled roughly 4.7 million tons of air freight (2022: 4.8 million) at 115 air cargo centres worldwide.   • Lead the finance team for the Germany-Austria region in the areas of AP, AR (incl. responsibility for the DSO process), general accounting and liquidity forecasting
  • Full responsibility of the integrity and compliance with accounting standards (local and IFRS) in the reporting of financial results of all the entities
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all local legal requirements; including taxes (contact person for tax consultants), filing of all entities’ shareholders minutes and resolutions
  • Perform all reporting tasks incl. balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with Group policies and on time
  • Drive the transformation process, manage projects to optimize processes and automate the department
  • Work with our ICS, internal and external auditors to implement necessary controls and fulfil internal and external audit requirements
  • Responsibility of the entities as authorized signatory for the Germany-Austria region
  • Qualified “Bilanzbuchalter”
  • More than 5 years of professional experience managing a team
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and of statutory and legal requirements in the accounting area
  • Customer-centric; able to manage a variety of internal customers across different business lines, entities and locations
  • Confident handling of financial software (SAP) and MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10-15%)
  • Dynamic, persistent
  • Experience with private equity reporting cadence and deadlines, experience with digitalization and transformation are a plus
