As part of their continuous growth and business transformations, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Head of Accounting to lead our Client’s financial operations.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including the accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
• Lead the group-wide reporting processes, ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements.
• Manage the Shared Services Center (SSC) accounting activities, ensuring high-quality and efficient processes.
• Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and other relevant regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• To support business objectives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal departments.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Monitor and manage financial controls, ensuring the integrity of financial information.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience (minimum 7-10 years) in a senior accounting and managerial role, focusing on group reporting and SSC processes.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing accounting teams.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
