You will be part of the ECANA Mining Shared Services team. Your primary role is to support with Proposal Submission and order execution along with our technical departments, proposal team, procurement, and shipping functions. You will also ensure our customers’ satisfaction, you should be in daily contact with our valued mining customers, just as you liaise with our sales managers and technical advisors.

As the Head of Application Integration, you will play a critical role in the planning, development, and execution of our application integration strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of integration specialists and engineers, manage the integration platform (Talend), and collaborate with various departments to drive efficient data exchange and process automation.

• Integration Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive integration strategy, aligning it with the company’s business objectives. Identify opportunities for automation, data sharing, and process improvement.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of integration specialists and engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of integration projects.
• Talend Middleware: Oversee the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the Talend middleware platform. Ensure that it meets performance and scalability requirements.
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee integration projects from initiation to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scopes.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Develop data mapping and transformation rules to ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems.
• Data Security: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data during the integration process. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Act as a point of contact for addressing integration-related issues. Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide timely solutions to maintain system integrity.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance integration efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with Talend representatives to stay updated on product features, enhancements, and best practices.

Proven experience in application integration and middleware platforms, experience in Talend will be added advantage.

• Leadership experience, including team management and project oversight.
• In-depth knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data transformation.
• Strong understanding of ERP and PLM systems.
• Proficiency in data security and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in from a reputed university specializing in Computer Science, Information Technology.

Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
