We are seeking a Head of Faculty to provide day-to-day operational management of the Engineering team, working across the matrix of shared services provision within Furness College to ensure an effective, efficient and high-quality curriculum offer delivering positive student outcomes, underpinned by an excellent student experience.

As a member of the management team, the post holder will plan, review and develop the curriculum to ensure that it meets the current and future skills needs of the local area and prospective learners and apprentices, leading on the ongoing improvement in the quality of teaching, learning and assessment within the faculty.

Responsible for a large team, the suitable candidate will be a proven people manager, with the ability to demonstrate the skills required to delegate and lead deputies. It is essential that applicants have a passion for education and making a difference.
