Reporting to HMI Group CFO, he/she will responsible for all accounting, tax and treasury matters for the Group and subsidiaries. Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting, including statutory and management reporting, and fiscal management aspects of holding company and subsidiaries. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the Group.

• Oversee the Group Finance functions, in the area of management and statutory reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), ESG reporting and annual budgeting.
• Manage the Treasury function within HMI Group to optimize use of cash e.g. maximize interest income, reduce interest expenses, and minimize FX losses
• Support the growth of HMI Group businesses through identifying cost efficiency opportunities, financial policy and controls, and optimizing synergies
• Support Group CFO in the planning and driving of strategic business initiatives that improve timeliness and efficiency of management and statutory reporting at entity and Group level. This involves identifying areas for improvement, developing and executing transformation plans and optimal business/operating model design for finance functions, including set-up of Shared Service Hubs to support the sustainable growth of HMI Group’s businesses
• Drive the implementation of digitalization and automation solutions which enable higher productivity, paper-less solutions, and timely and accurate reporting of financial information to support effective business decision making
• Set up proper change management governance so transformation processes are well managed
• Support the HMI Group IPO preparation process which includes
• Working with appointed consultants/advisors in prospectus preparation, pre-listing audits
• Setting up reporting system and structure which will allow HMI Group and subsidiaries to meet the Listing and reporting requirements of established stock exchanges like Singapore.
• Coach and mentor finance team members of all Group entities for performance and continuous improvement
• Attend to any such other tasks as which may be assigned.
