As part of an orderly succession, combined with a reorganization of the area, we are looking for a Head of Finance and Controlling for our Shared Services division as soon as possible . Tasks In your future position as “Head of Finance and Controlling” you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management, further development and leadership of the employees in the finance department.

• You are responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements including reporting, responsibility for finance and accounting (bookkeeping, auditing and taxation, cost and performance accounting) as well as purchasing.
• You are responsible for order management (calculations, preparation of offers, budget and liquidity planning, budget controlling of individual orders and invoicing of all services).
• You are responsible for controlling (key figures, reporting, forecasts for business plans and long-term planning and associated recommendations for action, reporting).
• They support the further development of risk management.
• You ensure proper tax reporting and are the contact person for auditing, external tax consulting and fiscal administration (including accompanying company audits).
• You coordinate the further development and optimization of all processes and structures in the financial area as well as their interfaces with regard to digitalization and process automation.

• You have completed a university degree with a focus on finance/controlling or a comparable qualification.
• You are characterized by clarity and commitment and lead the department in an appreciative, situational and self-responsible manner – also through winning, binding and clear communication.
• You have several years of professional and management experience in the finance and controlling sector.
• You have very good knowledge of annual financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB).
• You have very good knowledge in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting.
• You have good application knowledge, particularly in accounting and management software and MS Excel.
• You have an open and motivating leadership style with clear planning and assertiveness skills.
• You are at home in commercial and tax law and ideally know the processes of a tax consulting / auditing firm.
• They identify with NOW’s sustainable mobility strategy and want to actively help implement it.
