Our client is a new fast-growing shared services center with an office located in Warsaw. They offer a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work three days a week from the office and two days from home.
- Lead the finance team in managing key accounting functions in general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, plan ahead, and ensure the right support is in place.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement to make operations smoother and more effective.
- Create plans to balance business needs with available resources, providing clarity for better decision-making.
- Oversee the handling of operational requests, ensuring they are tracked and resolved efficiently.
- Monitor the team’s performance, making sure it aligns with the company’s goals.
- Support your team’s growth by focusing on career development, training, and keeping morale high.
- Set up clear ways to make decisions and handle issues, ensuring smooth communication between teams.
- Maintain a clear list of services offered, helping the business understand what finance can provide.
- Collect and act on customer feedback to improve satisfaction and service quality.
- Ensure processes are standardized and maintained through clear accountability and support structures.
- If needed, oversee, verify, and provide support for the daily operational tasks of the team to ensure smooth execution.
- At least 10 years of experience working in Shared Services, with a proven track record of taking on more responsibility over time.
- Strong leadership experience, with a focus on growing and developing teams.
- Familiarity with improving processes, driving automation, and continuously making operations more efficient.
- Excellent at managing relationships and communicating with stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or something similar.
- A demonstrated ability to lead change and help drive transformation in business settings.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting functions.
- Fluent in English, and knowing Polish or other European languages is a bonus.
- Open to occasional travel when needed.
- Experience in building or setting up Shared Services structures is a nice-to-have.
