YouGov are looking for a Head of Financial Operations to join our global finance operations team.

In 2021, we started our journey to move from a regional finance model to one where key transactional processes were completed in a finance shared service team. This journey has seen us grow from 20 people to now over 50 people working on R2R, P2P, O2C, revenue assurance, payroll and change/controls across India, Mexico and Romania.

Reporting into the Deputy-CFO, this role provides the opportunity to shape the future finance strategy for the organisation whilst building a world class and highly efficient transactional accounting service.

• Leading a global team of 50 across financial operations.
• Coaching and developing the management team and developing a people investment strategy.
• Create an environment of continuous improvement by utilising cut edge technology such as robotics and through lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Integrating global acquisitions smoothly & transforming processes of acquired entities to group standards.
• Supporting global change projects including new system implementations/upgrades
• Solidify financial controls so that all key financial risks have appropriately designed and operating controls.
• Along with the Deputy-CFO considering strategic initiatives to support the efficiency and growth of the finance team.
• Work with the finance colleagues to automate processes with Power Automate or standard PowerBI reports.

• A proven leader who focuses on quality and motivating teams to deliver outstanding reporting and customer service.
• Knowledge of running large transactional finance functions, ideally with shared service experience.
• Experience of systems implementation and project work associated with a Finance Shared Services Centre. Service innovation/expansion.
• Change management skills.
• Strong stakeholder management experience within a complex Group
• Experience operating processes under Sarbanes Oxley (desirable)
• Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
