Chilworth Partnership (also trading as Venture Recruitment Partners) are assisting a rapidly expanding Financial Services organisation, based on the outskirts of Southampton, in their search for a Head of Finance & Operations.

• Overall responsibility for the execution of the expansion of the local office to include hiring, training and retention of staff.
• Direct ownership of the multiple Accounting functions (Real Estate and Private Equity) in the local office.
• Indirect ownership of central functions (EG, Client Treasury, Investor Services & Group functions).
• Own people plan for local office, ensuring the team is engaged and motivated to drive performance.
• Ensure standard processes and controls are adopted, identifying efficiencies and improvements where possible.
• Using new technologies to advance other operational departments.
• Explore, recommend and execute on the expansion of services from the local office.
• Ensure the office delivers excellence through provision of monthly management information metrics.
• Develop and uphold a strong, commercial and compliant culture through the ownership of processes and procedures for Shared Services.

• Be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with extensive post qualified experience.
• Have a proven background in the fund accounting sector.
• Have experience of driving Operational improvements.
• Be proven at leading, developing and inspiring high performing teams.
• Have experience of driving and delivering strategic projects.
• Be experience at managing and maintaining budgets and forecasts.
