The Head of Finance Shared Services will support the delivery of year on year service improvements and cost reduction to increase efficiency, and will lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the service/optimise cost to increase value and is also accountable for ensuring the delivery of Finance services.

• Lead Finance teams to deliver required service.
• Ensure that service levels are in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Manage a high performance team, providing strong leadership and customer service focus (both internally and externally)
• Promote the culture of continuous improvement, lead initiatives associated with end to end Finance process, understanding various business processes, proposing improvement suggestions, optimizing financial processes, and reducing redundant work and resource waste.
• Establish and maintain good business cooperation relationships, promote collaborative work between business departments and the finance shared service center, and improve overall work efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance to all internal and external regulatory/legal (e.g. Group controls and reporting requirements, local regulatory requirements)
• Optimise the use of the automation across the end to end process
• Optimise electronic invoicing
• Support transition of functions into CoE
• Implement training to ensure all employees understand their specific roles in the organisation.
• Create a highly qualified team with specialised skills and knowledge
• Developing the development strategy and objectives of the Finance Department, and adjusting the business focus, development direction, and resource allocation of the finance department in line with the overall COE strategy, ensuring that the work of the finance department is consistent with the company’s strategy.
• Collaborate with other departments within the group to explore potential business transfer opportunities, striving to bring more business into the finance shared service center and promote the continuous growth and development of the COE business.

• Experienced Finance leader with an understanding of what it takes to lead a multi-country Finance service line across Asia
• Four years plus of management experience held in SSC type environment
• Good knowledge of English (spoken & written)
• Experience of setting up and/or operating finance processes in a SSC type environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma exposure or equivalent desired
• Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CHAE or equivalent)

Desirable:

• Demonstrable experience in transformation projects in business operations
• Excellent understanding of the critical success factors for SSC as reliable, effective and efficient business service provider
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of SAP ERP (desirable)
• Has working experience in Shared Services or COE Operations.
