For our client we are looking for Head of Finance Shared Services.

The goal is to create a high performing Finance Shared Services Team. You will be responsible for providing finance expertise and driving Finance Shared Services improvements, optimization and expansion across the Group. You will work alongside the Future Finance Team, providing thought leadership in defining the target end state for Finance, with a particular focus on leveraging Shared Services.

You will report to Director of GBS and to Finance Director Transformation. Location: Sandomierz / Work model: hybrid (10 days remote per month)

• Lead efforts to improve use of the finance core systems. Develop business cases to find best solutions and automate processes.
• Align Finance Shared Services’ activities and resources with the Future Finance priorities.
• Work with the Global Process Owners. Develop and rollout core policies to aid a single way of working and improve controls. Do this while ensuring compliance to Group standards and policies for own organisation.
• Work with the GBS Finance Team Leaders. You will improve the key metrics needed to track the performance of Finance Shared Services. This will help the Group move towards best practice benchmarks, including lower processing costs.
• Support the GBS Manager. Help them deliver high-quality, timely service. The service should focus on providing services effectively and improving continuously.
• Deliver a great customer experience and drive business process improvement.

• Prior experience on similar role within a multi-national business including improvement and optimization
• Degree in Finance or an accounting qualification
• Strong influencing skills across a broad spectrum of levels within an organization
• Comfortable in preparing and delivering presentations to a broad audience
• Excellent English language capability, both written and verbal

• Experience of managing and motivating large teams would be beneficial (>50-100 FTEs)
• SAP experience preferred
