To take responsibility for the IPN Management Accounts team and transactional finance team focussing on stakeholder delivery, timeliness accuracy, integrity, understanding of performance and continuous improvement. Responsible for integration of new business acquisitions into the function.

  • Lead and be part of the management accounts team and transaction services team responsible for delivery of accurate and timely month end reporting for the IPN sites, DC’s and head office function. Liaise with site business partners to ensure delivered results correspond with wider site and operational understanding.
  • Lead management accounts delivery to the external audit team including year end disclosure packs and management accounts analysis for tax purposes.
  • Manage and develop the Management Accounts team and transaction services team to operate as a shared service function, optimising efficiency and use of talent across the team. Develop team members in their roles to be a high performing team. Succession plan and sponsor internal progression
  • Drive automation and technological development of the general ledger and management accounts function, drive continuous improvement
  • Deliver monthly capital accounting, reporting and tracking vs.business case, budget and forecast. Systemise the fixed asset registers and capex workflows.
  • Support members of the wider finance team with management accounts information necessary for them to deliver in line with their roles
  • Take responsibility for completion of other deliverables that require management accounts information i.e. National Statistics returns.
  • Plan and execution of management accounts integration into the Shared Service function
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and post qualification experience
  • Able to demonstrate technical proficiency and wants to develop and succeed in an agile, fast paced private equity environment
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills with strong organisation and planning skills
  • Strong concept of customer service and stakeholder management
  • Flexible and able to deliver to deadline
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and processes with accuracy, but able to see the high-level view
  • Positive approach to work and problem solving
  • Very good excel skills
  • Ability to demonstrate self-motivation
