Head of Financial Accounting (all gender) For our Faber-Castell Aktiengesellschaft in Stein near Nuremberg we are looking for a head of our Financial Accounting department (all gender) as soon as possible.

• Professional and disciplinary management of the department’s employees
• Responsibility for all accounting tasks, including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS)
• Management and further expansion of the shared service function for the Europe region
• Close collaboration with adjacent areas and interfaces (especially taxes, controlling, IT, purchasing and sales)
• Tracking and implementing legal changes
• Technical responsibility as business steward for the global processes in SAP S/4HANA (FI) and close cooperation with global key users
• Assumption of project responsibility (also international) as well as optimization and further development of global accounting processes
• Contact person for auditors and external consultants

• Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting/taxes or commercial training with further training to become an accountant
• Experienced leader with the ability to successfully implement change processes
• Very good knowledge and practical experience with SAP R/3 (FI) or SAP S/4HANA
• Financial statement security in accordance with HGB and IFRS as well as good knowledge of sales tax law
• Very high analytical skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
