  • To carry out the hiring, development and management of team members
  • Provide leadership and strategic decisions for aligning the group GRC model to supported offices across Europe, Asia and Americas.
  • Main point of contact and prioritising tasks requested from the GRC team heads in Jersey, London, Ireland, Holland, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Cayman, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
  • To delegate work to a team of G RC officers , who follow processes and checklists designed in conjunction with GRC teams within Hawksford.
  • To contribute to group wide strategic and operational project development and delivery.
  • Roles at this level are held by professional specialists with high-level expertise , exercising a substantial degree of independent professional responsibility and discretion, working within broad parameters and policy guidance
  • Individual will have extensive experience of running a second line of defence team (or similar) , for instance in risk management, control testing and board reporting
  • Individual will have risk or regulatory qualifications (or similar) , along with a number of years of experience promoting strong governance, risk management and compliance frameworks
  • The individual will manage matters through to a successful conclusion, be well organised and have the ability to deliver and work under pressure.
  • They will have excellent relationship management skills Individual will typically be manager of functional areas or senior individual contributors tackling planning and operations over a timescale of a year or years. They are expected to set quality and professional standards and manage service delivery and have significant influence upon the structure and development of their area of activity (including creation of workflows)
  • Comfortable with matrix reporting , can work effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Must be comfortable speaking up, escalating concerns and be able to provide an independent view and voice Ability to take initiative, adaptive and flexible in problem solving and deliver sustainable change outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
