As Head of Group Accounting (all genders), you work at the interface between CFO, Controlling, Tax, auditors and the accountants and tax advisors or finance managers of our subsidiaries (Competence Center) in Germany and abroad.The Group Accounting team is responsible for our closing and reporting processes (including ESG reporting) as well as the development of accounting guidelines and standards (IFRS and HGB). This includes the management and further development of this area (including our Shared Services Center for accounting) as well as the introduction of accounting in accordance with IFRS.

• You support our Competence Center in the closing process
• You are significantly involved in the preparation and further development of our regular monthly and annual financial statements
• You define reporting processes, set reporting standards and ensure compliance with our guidelines
• You are responsible for the accounting-related internal control system and the underlying processes
• You develop and implement ideas on how we can optimise the user-friendliness and efficiency of our administrative processes from contract initiation to payment

• You have several years of (management) experience in accounting and have solid experience in preparing consolidated financial statements including appendix and management report – ideally you are familiar with the service or consulting industry
• You have experience with relevant accounting and ERP systems (e.g. Datev, as well as Lucanet as group consolidation software) and have profound IFRS and HGB knowledge
• In addition, you have experience in the design, optimization and automation of administrative processes
• Your pragmatic hands-on approach, enjoyment of creative work and strong problem-solving skills characterize you
• You have very good analytical skills, recognize economic relationships and can derive practical recommendations for action from them
• In all of this, you are a strong communicator who can present complex issues in an understandable way and take stakeholders along on the journey with well-thought-out concepts
• Very good MS Office skills, as well as fluent German and good English skills complete your profile
