The Head of HR Operations is partly a newly formed role within the merged business and will require the incumbent to focus on creating a truly partnering culture with our stakeholders, shaping a mini shared service centre delivering on the administrative HR tasks that underpin the delivery of a great people experience. This presents an exciting opportunity to work with the CPO around building what this looks like, including responsibility for identifying the appropriate systems and processes and policies.
As the organisation continues to grow we need to ensure both our operational structure and ways of working are fit for purpose now and for the projected growth we will undertake as a business
- People management of the HR Ops team – including both the HR lifecycle team and HR Business Partnering team
- Define and recommend an appropriate ER model in line with the overall team priorities.
- Create a partnering culture with all levels of stakeholders across a 200+ site organisation
- Ensure that each region/function is supported with a people plan to help drive forward the strategic objectives
- Ensure that there is meaningful HRMI which can be provided to the business which enables our leaders to make informed decisions to manage their teams effectively.
- Ensure strong operational visibility and attendance at all business meetings. Responsible for attending monthly Business Reviews
- Ensure that the business is provided with HR policies and procedures which are legally compliant, fit for purpose and user friendly.
- Oversees the Due Diligence of the people elements of Mergers and Acquisitions, and ongoing change requirements.
- Comparable Multi-site experience (Essential) – and if you have experience of a regulated, highly governed or clinical environment that would be an advantage
- CIPD Qualified (Essential)
- Experience of developing Operational People Plans focused on driving organisational effectiveness.
- Knowledge of working within a fast paced, high change organisation
- Management experience – with a collaborative values led leadership style, able to engage and drive performance through their teams.
- Proactive and positive appropriate to stakeholder engagement
- Performance and business driven; solutions orientated.
