Join one of the largest pharmacy businesses in Europe with a great mission.
Every day, we contribute to improving the quality of life of millions of people.
In the UK – talent acquisition, development, and optimization; having a constant focus on colleague engagement and transforming our HR operating model are our top HR priorities.
Our HR operations/shared services teams are the engine of HR – they ensure that our colleague lifecycle runs smoothly, and that our service and performance levels are optimal.
Reporting into the Director of HR, as a leader, you will:
- Contribute towards and deliver your part of our HR strategy as well as ensuring that our processes and HR systems are efficient and effective.
To do this, without doubt you’ll need to assess current state and make recommendations for changes and improvements. This will include establishing and delivering opportunities to digitize and automate.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience as a senior manager or head of HR operations/shared services role that can evidence results – preferably gained in mid to large or complex multi-site business – ideally Retail and/or Distribution.
- You will have managed, developed, improved, and enhanced HR transactions/administration teams, HR Systems & Analytics teams and/or Payroll or Talent Acquisition Operations – it could be one of the latter two functions.
- You will also need to have a digital mindset and be able to demonstrate how you implemented technology in HR with clear results whilst enhancing colleague and manager experiences.
How will you succeed in this role?
You keep things simple and real (we don’t do complicated!), be results and change orientated, and have a continuous improvement mindset. You’ll also be pacy, driven and ambitious; will probably be detail conscious and most definitely be collaborative. You’ll also need to be onsite for up to 4 days a week.
