The Head of HR Shared Services will be responsible for building, leading, and developing an efficient and effective HR and Advisory function that provides first class services to the wider business. You’ll be responsible for a team of 10+ HR and People Coordinators, Advisors and Managers who manage day to day HR and People queries, case-loads, disciplinaries and grievances etc.

  • Ensuring the business has optimal systems, processes, and ways of working in place to achieve the business and teams objectives
  • Building and managing a high performing Shared Services function and team that is adaptable and efficient
  • Driving ongoing improvements through standardising, automating, and consolidating processes across the team
  • Support the CPO with creation of the teams vision, brand and identity, ensuring the highest standards are upheld
  • Management of and support with day to day and longer term professional development of the shared service team
  • Development of Service Level Agreements and KPI’s within the business and manage delivery of services to those
  • Management of ongoing change and transformation within the business that impacts the team and ensuring that team resources are correct to enable optimum support is provided to the wider business
  • Accountability for budget planning and management across the HR Shared Service function
  • Connect with the wider HR and People function and business stakeholders to understand specific delivery needs and demands

We’re keen to speak with People and HR leaders who have a proven track record managing and growing high performing HR functions. You’ll have a continuous improvement and agile mindset and the ability to engage people and bring them on a journey. You should also have experience of optimising processes, ways of working and improving service level agreements. A solid working knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice is essential as is a proven track record of building and maintaining long last relationships with stakeholders. Experience of managing a team through change and transformation and managing international teams (EMEA specifically) would be advantageous.
