This HR Shared Services (HRSS) Lead assumes a fundamental role within our dynamic HR team, reporting to the APAC Regional HR Director. This leadership role is dedicated to fostering operational excellence by challenging established norms and driving innovation within the HR function. Emphasis is placed on the continuous efficiency optimization of processes and services through strategic automation and simplification, achieved through collaborative efforts with business units and the HR community. This ensures a great employee experience and reinforces HRSS’s agility in adapting to evolving organizatinoal needs.

  • Develop & execute a strategic roadmap for expanding HRSS services, with emphasis on HR technology enhancements. Identify opportunities for growth & optimization, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership to the HRSS team, setting clear objectives and performance standards. Foster a high-performance & continuous improvement culture within the team. Encourage feedback, identify opportunities for enhancement & implement best practices.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of HR services, including payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, employee data records management, reporting for regional office & APAC markets. Ensure service levels meet or exceed established standards.
  • Have financial oversight by taking responsibility of budgets, forecasting, accruals, and provisioning for all markets in partnership with the market HRs.
  • Ensure the production of comprehensive, precise & informative monthly HR reports required by Corporate. Utilize data analytics tools to derive insights from HR data. Create meaningful and actionable reports to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with HR leaders and business stakeholders to understand their HR needs and translate business requirements to actionable solutions that contribute to great employee experience.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery of outsourced HR services. Monitor vendor performance and adherence to SLAs.
  • Ensure HRSS remains agile in an evolving environment by proactively identify and address challenges, adjusting strategies and process to support the dynamic nature of business.
  • Stay updated on HR related regulations, compliance & global requirements, and continuously review and update HR policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Participate or spearhead initiatives or projects involving HRSS operations, whether through process innovation, technology adoption, or other strategic endeavors
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in HR Shared Services leadership or similar HR operational role with a strong focus on HR technology
  • Strong background in driving operational excellence, process transformation, and HR technology integration
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic roadmaps for HR Shared Services expansion, emphasizing on HR technology
  • Good project management skills with a track record of leading successful implementations of projects.
  • Strong proficiency in SuccessFactors, with hands on experience in design/conceptualizing and rolling out SuccessFactors implementations an added advantage
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, able to think independently
  • In-depth knowledge of HR operations, processes, best practices & technology trends
  • Possesses entrepreneurial spirits, strategic & critical mindsets, and capability of driving change and navigating ambiguity
  • Strong leadership experience in leading big teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
