Our HR Department in Taiwan – location is looking for a high caliber Head of HR.
- Assume responsibility for all business units and functions in the location operating as the privileged single point of contact for all HR queries.
- Provide support to managers in the area of responsibility to achieve Development, Performance Management and Employee Engagement objectives by supporting the definition & implementation of the necessary people actions and interventions.
- Steer business results by supporting the definition & implementation of the necessary people actions & interventions to successfully execute the business strategy.
- Drive the execution of the end-to-end HR lifecycle activities in the respective business area to support the company’s Mission, Vision and Strategy.
- Provide expert advice on all matters relating to the development of the organization and executional capability of teams and individuals.
- Be accountable for the service performance and operational efficiency and effectiveness of the local HR Shared Services team, processes and systems
- Ensure that local HR Operations services – HR administration and Payroll – are delivered according to the agreed SLAS in terms of timeliness, quality, budget and compliance
- Manage the operational aspects of local payroll, administrative processes, HRIS and delivering day-to-day services to all employees and managers
- Implement global HR processes locally and ensure compliance
- Provide high quality and consistent advice and support in a cost-effective and efficient way to positively impact on customer effectiveness, efficiency and confidence
- Broad generalist HR experience gained across a variety of businesses, markets, cultures
- International HR experience (international HR projects and processes)
- Experience of using HR software solutions
- Practical, in-depth knowledge of HR administrative procedures
- At least three years of customer-facing experience in an HR/ payroll administrative or support role, in a high-volume, fast-paced, multi-cultural work environment
- Solid understanding of HR processes and systems, particularly payroll-related
- Excellent understanding of Employment Law and ability to put knowledge into practice
- Technical skills:
- Solid experience in business partner, employee relations, employment law
- Project Management
- Conflict management
- Influencing
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Chinese plus another Asian language would be of advantage
- IT proficiency: Proficient in the use of MS Office tools
- Ability to anticipate, identify, diagnose and resolve employee issues affecting business performance
- Ability to work independently with tight timelines and multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization
