Our well-known client is offering a 12-month contract as Head of Human Resources Shared Services, where you will lead and shape a newly established, large-scale HR Shared Services function, with an ideal start in October.

- In this role, you will oversee HR Shared Services delivery for a diverse group of professionals and employees. You will manage operations, assist in process overhauls, and ensure customer-centric, efficient, and effective services.
- You will be highly skilled at fostering a service-oriented culture, leading your team through high-impact organisational change, You will report to an experienced Executive Director and collaborate closely with the broader Human Resources team to maintain strategic alignment and operational excellence. A key part of the role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives and upgrading system automation and analytics.
- You are passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience and excel at promoting service excellence. A strategic thinker, you bring extensive senior-level experience in managing a wide array of administrative services within large, complex organizations, with particular expertise in customer service management.
- Your success is marked by leading the daily operations of HR Services, enhancing performance, and building a high-performance culture that values collaboration, agility, and accountability. You have a proven ability to introduce innovative business solutions, embedding them into organisational culture and practices.
- With a highly collaborative leadership style, you build positive, respectful relationships and cultivate a customer-focused environment that promotes initiative, innovation, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience delivering as a Head of HR Shared Services establishing customer-focused HR services.
- Proven success in leading change within service delivery models in large, complex organisations, in the corporate or public sector.
- Experience managing frontline HR shared service delivery, including Payroll operations.
- Strong expertise in knowledge management and continuous process improvement.
- Excellent analytical skills to address complex issues and communicate solutions effectively.
- The ability to build and manage productive strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of industrial instruments and their application to HR processes.
