- Ensure the smooth operation of IT shared services, supporting internal customers with infrastructure and applications incidents, requests, and changes. This involves managing a team of solution experts, setting priorities, and resolving operational issues
- Identify opportunities for improving processes and efficiency within the shared services teams
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT shared services teams. This includes managing performance, providing training and development opportunities, and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment
- Managing and controlling the budget for IT shared services in different countries, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in IT service management or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an IT department
- Experience in and with the area of IT infrastructure
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting and communication to C-Level authorities
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
- Strong communications skills in German and English
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is an advantage
