Will build a high performing team and partner with functions across Telstra to drive operational excellence for Telstra Business. With your leadership, you will work with your team to establish and run a sound governance and interlock framework that supports the shared service framework across Telstra Business including service expectation setting and performance management metrics. This role will also see you having a focus on continuous improvement to drive targeted customer led improvement initiatives which drive efficiency through an aligned approach with our Functional Units.

  • Proven experience and understanding of Customer Operations with the ability to effectively operate in a matrix organisation.
  • Experience leading teams in business improvement/process improvement environments with a direct impact on customer experience improvement
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, coach and mentor team members.
  • Experience driving productivity programs through identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to reduce operational expenses while maintaining or improving quality.
  • Experienced in program management with the ability to cut through complexities to operationalise and simplify business processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and senior management.
  • Experienced in designing, implementing, and running business governance frameworks including establishing and monitoring service level agreements.
  • Proven experience influencing a diverse range of stakeholders to drive business outcomes to drive customer experience improvements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders (at all levels) and switch between detailed requirements and strategic narratives depending on the audience.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into action (bringing strategy to life)
