As Head of Operation for Hire to Retire (H2R) in Denmark, you will be responsible for leading the operation, including business and budget responsibility. We serve employees in several different Siemens organizations and collaborate through a network of our own facilities and external suppliers, so you can look forward to having to balance many interests. In order to create added value for Siemens’ business units and strengthen competitiveness within the H2R business area, we are implementing a number of global and regional initiatives to optimize our delivery units, implement leading technologies and digital platforms, and simplify processes.

You will be given leadership responsibility for an independent team of four professionally competent specialists, where you must both dare to challenge established routines and processes, but at the same time assume the role with humility and respect for the knowledge that everyone in the team possesses.

We do not expect you to know it all from day one, but that in the long term you build up knowledge in all subject areas and can act as a sparring partner for the team. If you are ready for the journey, we guarantee that it will be fun, challenging and developing.

As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for several areas, and the tasks will change as we develop and outsource parts of the function. For now, your typical areas of responsibility will be:

  • Coordination of tasks, projects and resources to ensure the entire administrative HR value chain from ‘hire-to-retire’
  • Ensure general employee well-being and balancing workload for the team
  • Handling various issues within HR administration
  • Act as a link between the global HR administration function and the local business/HR
  • Budget and accounting follow-up
  • Optimize, digitize and develop both Payroll and the HR administration function through projects related to HR process improvements, digitization and outsourcing of parts of the payroll function

  • Has experience with payroll administration
  • Has competence in supplier management with a focus on quality and process improvements
  • Experience of leading a team, ideally within a Shared Service organization, is an advantage
  • Advantageously has experience with change management and transformation projects
  • Loves to provide good service, and is able to communicate and collaborate with people at all levels
  • Has a go-getter attitude and is passionate about creating new opportunities
  • Master both Danish and English in writing and speaking
