We are looking for an experienced Head of People who acts as a substantive HR expert at all levels, strategic, tactical and operational.
This Head of People of Cluster West directs Cellnex Telecom’s HR strategy at cluster level for the countries of the Netherlands, Portugal and Ireland. You have broad responsibility for HRM and are a generalist who has all-round HR expertise at strategic, tactical and operational level. You support and advise directors, management and the business in all areas of HRM. As Cluster Head of People, the corporate guidelines are the framework within which you implement HR policy at cluster and country level, appropriate to the local situation(s) and culture. You report to the Director Shared Services Cluster West.
- The development and implementation of the HR strategy, tailored to the organizational objectives and those of the business lines;
- Taking initiative for the correct management of HR matters relating to appropriate cultural aspects and communication in the countries of the cluster;
- Initiating and leading projects in the areas of Strategic Personnel Planning, Talent Management, Engagement Management and Compensation & Benefits;
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of an inspiring organizational culture that makes it possible to achieve good results;
- Monitoring and retaining talents and skills in the organization and taking a leading role in the development of training and assessment methodologies;
- Based on structural analyses, ensuring a well-suited staffing level, also during the takeover and integration of companies;
- Responsible for leading processes in the development and adoption of HR procedures and HR policies;
- In a broad sense responsible for the quality of HR services and the development and professionalism within the People team.
- Bachelor or Master in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology or a comparable education;
- At least 6 to 8 years of experience in HRM, preferably several years in a managerial position;
- Experience within an international working environment, for example in a complex matrix organization within the telecom sector;
- Have a stable personality and persuasiveness;
- Combining relationship orientation with business sense;
- A flexible, pragmatic attitude and helicopter view;
- Enthusiasm and proactivity: providing ideas for creative solutions;
- Good at stakeholder management and able to stimulate and lead change;
- Being and staying up to date with developments within HR;
- Have achieved demonstrable results in HR projects, for example in Learning & Development and Performance Management;
- Reliable, honest and discreet;
- Excellent command of the Dutch (native) and English language, spoken and written;
- Have the willingness to travel.

You influence, coach, support and develop their approach to managing their teams. That is why you are socially skilled and someone who is easily approachable by colleagues at all levels. You are able to provide feedback when it comes to behavioral and cultural change. You know what is going on, are organizationally sensitive, enterprising and reliable in your advice and approach.
