The Head of PTP is responsible for managing the entire Purchase to Pay function and driving operational excellence in the finance shared services team while champion continuous improvement within the organization. The successful individual will need effective communication skills with strong leadership experience in Accounts Payable.
- Oversee end-to-end PTP function, leading a team of c. 5 senior people.
- Ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments, and support cash forecasting/reporting.
- Meet cash management goals while aiding finance/operations teams.
- Oversee creation, maintenance, and reporting of Accounts Payable metrics, providing regular updates to senior management with analysis.
- Lead process improvements, including implementing AI to enhance Purchase to Pay efficiencies.
- Manage audit requests, including process documentation, reporting, and sample data for internal and external audits.
- Ensure controls are in place to safeguard assets, maintain accurate supplier accounts, manage supplier risks, and provide excellent customer service.
- Support initiatives to improve business value and customer experience, mentor team members, and promote continuous improvement.
- BA in Finance, or Accounting.
- Experience leading teams in fast moving PTP environments.
- Previous experience in large scale multi-national businesses.
- Interest and experience in project-based responsibilities including implementation of new processes and systems.
- Highly proficient in ERP systems.
