The Head of the Bogota Hub will oversee managing the organizational setup and assisting with transitions from the region. As part of the team of Shared Service Heads, S/he is also responsible to design, deliver and execute the ongoing shared services organization’s vision based on his/her previous industrial knowledge and trends from the local / global GBS industry. The candidate will develop and implement Sanofi’s culture with a high-performance mindset while overseeing internal and external stakeholder and senior management relationships with a strong emphasis on the development and engagement of its people.
Strategy & Governance
- Together with other captive heads, co-create and drive an ongoing shared services organization’s vision
- Drive the future of Bogota Captive Center leveraging experience of the GBS strategy and trends
- Oversight on cost inputs into Captive Center Business Cases ensuring costs reflects reality and future trends, ensuring transitions ramp up/ down and financial impacts to the Group are well assessed
- Manage budgeting for Center level scope (training, engagement, communication, recruitment, and employer branding) and track cost evolution for the overall Center (Including HC & Pcost)
- Oversee the smooth running of service partnership agreements and operational KPI developed with Global / local Finance Business Partners.
- Establish Captive Center Governance to ensure suitable governance practices are in place and that the organization is aligned and in compliance with internal and external rules and regulation (incl. controls framework, Health & Safety, Corporate Social Responsibility, etc.) in alignment with respective business partners (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, IT, etc.)
- Establish robust business continuity framework and measures with other Captive Service Line Heads and together with Captive Heads ensure the business continuity measures works across Captives
- Establish and deliver a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Transition & Operations Management
- Support the transition activities into the Captive Business Services Center and ensuring the Service Line Retained Organizations are well setup to support the transitions (in line with Business Case ramp-down)
- Oversight and On-site escalation point for any other transition related planning and support (ie. IT/ TA)
- Ensure required site support operations and necessary internal, external support services are in place for the operations
- Maintain high quality and optimal office environment to support collaboration and agility
- Establish and maintain regular reporting packages and track key performance indicators, incidents striving for timely solutions
Stakeholder Management & Employee Engagement
- Establish reliable internal/external relationships with the sector associations, institutes, GBS networks and government units
- Act as a first line escalation point for Country stakeholders to support operational excellence and client satisfaction (if necessary)
- Ability to Influence and persuade different stakeholders across functional domains
- Maintain the right team spirit in a changing, matrix organization also with respect to managing staff retention and attrition on a healthy level
- Implement and develop the Sanofi culture and Sanofi Business Service mindset (cultivate a “customer service” focus and establish a collaborative environment) to create an attractive place for talents, high performers, and subject matter experts
- Ensure high quality communication governance established internally and externally
- Ensure the right visibility and appearance of Sanofi Business Services branding and values
- Develop and promote Corporate Social Responsibility programs at center and regional level to promote Sanofi and its image
People & Recruitment management
- Together with HR/local agencies
- Establish the recruitment strategy and recognition of Sanofi in the local Business Services community to attract talent
- Oversee the recruitment, staffing and workforce ramp up across all end to end service lines and for centres of excellence and transversal services
- Ensure a solid talent pipeline is in place as well as market recognition of the Sanofi Captive centre in the local market
- Align regional and local training programs and opportunities to maximize development benefits for the site within budget
- Contribute to the talent management process, ensure consistent identification and management of talents at centre level
- Establish and maintain partnership with universities to promote Sanofi Business Services mission and objectives and ensure access to young talents
- Represent the centre locally and internationally (e.g. labor market, fairs & events, etc.)
- Act as escalation instance for all recruitment topics and drive alternative resource solutions if required (including transition planning)
- Experience: Solid experience in a BPO/BPS/third party/Captive/Shared Services/Offshore (near and far) set ups and has core skills and major experience in GBS industry, leading a+30 people team.
- Soft skills: Leadership, results oriented, stakeholder engagement & management, ability to influence and persuade across functional domains.
