- Oversee day-to-day GBS center operations, emphasizing a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges with creative solutions.
- Attract, develop, and retain a team of agile and solution-oriented professionals who are driven to solve complex problems.
- Implement flexible and adaptive processes that encourage innovative problem-solving while maintaining efficiency and consistency.
- Leverage technology and digital solutions to support and enhance problem-solving capabilities within the GBS center.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and proactively propose solutions that exceed expectations.
- Refine performance metrics that measure the effectiveness of solution-oriented approaches, providing regular reports to management.
- Encourage risk-taking in a controlled environment, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit to solve challenges within compliance boundaries.
- Lead initiatives to promote continuous learning, adaptability, and an environment that encourages the exploration of new ideas.
- Effectively manage change within the GBS center to embrace a solution-focused culture and encourage creative problem-solving.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to promote solution orientation, sharing success stories and insights from creative problem-solving initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in a leadership role within Global Business Services or shared services management, with a demonstrated understanding and application of intercultural competencies.
- Strong strategic planning and operational management skills, with a focus on driving a culture of solution orientation, problem-solving, and inclusivity.
- Excellent talent management capabilities, capable of fostering a team culture that values creativity, innovation, and intercultural understanding.
- Demonstrated expertise in flexible process standardization and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong technological acumen, with experience in leveraging technology to support creative problem-solving approaches and intercultural communication.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds at all levels.
- A track record of successfully driving change management initiatives focused on promoting solution-oriented mindsets and embracing intercultural competencies.
- A commitment to compliance and risk-awareness while encouraging calculated risk-taking in the pursuit of innovative solutions, considering intercultural implications.
