As the Head of SSC, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning one of their most strategic Divisions to a centralised SSC model, setting the stage for a global rollout. You will lead a team of 28 finance professionals, consisting of AP, AR and GL, as well as overseeing the integration of local accounting teams into a unified structure.

• Lead the SSC Transformation: Drive the development and implementation of strategies to enhance efficiency, streamline month-end close processes, and improve revenue recognition and AP/AR processes.
• Manage Integration: Oversee the unification of 18 operational companies under one SSC roof, addressing challenges such as the IFRS to US GAAP conversion and reducing days sales outstanding (DSO) from 140 to 100.
• Process Improvement: Redesign and optimise business processes to address current challenges, including improving the AP processes and reducing the backlog of unbilled payables and purchases in transit.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team, ensuring effective integration and collaboration with existing finance teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with non-finance heads and former owners to manage change sensitively and ensure a smooth transition.
• Future Expansion: Prepare for future SSC expansions across other divisions, utilising your experience to support subsequent integration efforts.

• SSC Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing a Shared Services Centre with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Finance Expertise: Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, AP/AR processes and financial reporting.
• ERP Systems Knowledge: Experience with NetSuite preferred, but similar sized ERP systems will be considered.
• Transformation Skills: Ability to drive change in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.
• Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the capability to manage and inspire a large team.
