• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all shared services operations, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives
• Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Manage and motivate a team of shared services leaders and professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities to ensure their success
• Implement innovative solutions to automate processes, reduce costs, and streamline operations, leveraging technology and process reengineering methodologies
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in shared services to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Research and uncover various areas for automation and process improvement, analyzing data and identifying potential areas for cost savings and efficiency gains
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align shared services operations with overall business objectives and strategies
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure optimal performance from third-party providers
• Maintain and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in shared services leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in a complex and demanding environment
• In-depth knowledge of shared services operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay processes
• Proven ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to automate processes, reduce costs, and improve operational performance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify key trends, and develop effective solutions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of shared services professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.
