We’re a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Head of Shared Services for a leading FMCG company based in Colombo. This is a strategic leadership role where you will drive operational excellence, enhance efficiency, and ensure the delivery of seamless shared services to support the organization’s objectives. As the Head of Shared Services, you will be responsible for overseeing core finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reporting, and compliance, while also working to centralize and optimize other shared services where applicable.
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive shared services strategy.
- Oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy in service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure shared services align with organizational goals.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the shared services center.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement changes to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive.
- A strong background in finance, with a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in leading shared services or finance operations within a complex organization.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with financial systems and tools, with an understanding of emerging technologies and trends.
