• Lead and oversee the Finance Shared Services function in Kuala Lumpur, ensuring the efficient delivery of finance-related services to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the Finance Shared Services team in alignment with the overall organizational goals.
• Manage and optimize finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and other accounting functions, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase automation, and standardize procedures to achieve operational excellence and cost savings.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, business units, and senior management, to understand their needs and deliver high-quality services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls to mitigate risks and maintain financial integrity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their growth and career advancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support finance-related projects, system implementations, and process enhancements to drive business growth and innovation.
• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics and financial data to assess performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve financial performance.
