A leading Japanese corporation, specializing in industrial automation, control systems, and software solutions, renowned for optimizing operations across various sectors, including oil and gas, chemicals, and power.
- Ensures SSC staffing plan achievement, by overseeing and supporting recruitment and onboarding processes (in collaboration with HR and functional SME) and any other administrative functions or processes related to the smooth functioning of the SSC.
- Supervises SSC team and, in collaboration with functional SME, ensures performance management, career path development, and training plans for SSC team members.
- Contributes to building a shared center knowledge management system and employee training system, continuously improving the professionalism of the team, and leading and engaging the team to complete various business goals.
- Oversees the general delivery of services and prepares strategies, reports, and proposals, in close collaboration with functionalSMEs and regional management.
- Ensures service delivery completion by monitoring day-to-day operations and ensuring that all standards are met, and procedures are followed.
- Reviews and monitors SSC general activity to identify trends and problem areas, reporting on risks, key performance indicators and proposing corrective actions or new approaches.
- Develops and implements work methods and procedures of the SSC; recommends procedural changes to improve efficiency and ensures appropriate implementation of decisions made by senior management.
- Prepares and monitors the SSC budget.
- Ensures the implementation of Service Level Agreements and KPIs; in collaboration with functional SMEs and management, sets standards for quality and ensures that operational activities are implemented in accordance with recognized procedures and guidelines and meet the established standards.
- Supports quality control mechanisms such as client surveys, periodic data quality assurance reviews, error escalation procedures.
- Romanian resident with fluency in Romanian and English language.
- Proven management experience track record.
- Management style should be “shepherd” above “direct”.
- Listening to, coaching, and guiding the self-organizing members.
- Friendly and respectful, but business oriented.
- Customer oriented with high integrity and ensuring and encouraging collaboration.
- Leadership and very good communication skills, able to effectively interact at any business level, internal or external.
