We are currently seeking a Head of Transactional Finance to work within a leading business based close to Derby City Centre. This a key role within the business having two direct reports along with a team of 18 transactional staff. You will be responsible for overseeing the billings, treasury and accounts receivable functions, along with continuous improvement and system development.
- Leading 2 direct reports, along with overseeing the treasury and accounts receivable function
- Developing and leading staff, conducting appraisals and monthly reviews
- Working with senior management across the organisation
- Building relationships to ensure processes are streamlined
- Leading team meetings
- Promoting good working practice and values
- Recruitment and retention of staff
- Delivering SLA’s for accounting and processing activities
- Previous experience leading a transactional function, ideally within a Shared Service Environment
- Improvement on processes and systems
- Ability to develop, coach and motivate a team
- IT Literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to organising a demanding workload
- Excellent communication at all levels
