The Human Resources Operations/Shared Services Director leads the team responsible for designing and running global HR operational processes as well as leveraging HRIS and other systems to store, report, and process HR information. This role will partner with other functions within and outside of HR and a deep understanding of interdependencies and needs across the company.
- Identifies and leads the design, implementation and improvement of standard operating processes to maximize HR Shared Services effectiveness and outcomes. Specific process areas that will be fully owned by this role include Business Continuity to establish work plan and mitigation strategies , recognition awards, HR compliance and audit support and HR vendor contracting & invoicing.
- Oversees risk mitigation measures and reporting
- Serves as an HR Systems key user (Workday) in support of HR functions and key business partners.
- Manages the intake of new work and processes with COE partners, including the assignment and training of work within the team, and establishes department best practices.
- Acts as an escalation point to resolve complex issues for COE Services team members.
- Manages contingent worker resource relationships and staffing.
- Monitors key trends, evaluates metrics and provides insights, recommending solutions for operational excellence to HR Shared Services Leader.
- Partners with COE leaders to establish SLAs. Supports team SLA’s through understanding trends and volume, leads planning for the year and general team operations.
- Maintains the highest level of data integrity, flagging and reconciling inconsistencies when appropriate.
- Manage immigration and mobility including expat and bubble assignments.
- Assess and implement an efficient and effective team structure to perform HR operational work.
- Ensure HR operational processes stay current with all applicable legal obligations and address any non-compliance matters in a timely and effective manner.
- Effectively manage, support, and guide HR Operations team, including, but not limited to delegating tasks and responsibilities, assessing employee performance, and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
