Our client, a leading professional services organisation, is looking for an HR Operations Manager SEA in Singapore. The role will be responsible for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
- Oversee all critical day-to-day HR operational support functions for employees across the region, encompassing payroll management, work permit facilitation, group insurance administration, as well as comprehensive new employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Cultivate a thorough understanding of the Business Unit/Sub-Business Unit, encompassing clientele, product portfolios, industry dynamics, personnel, and organizational dynamics, enabling informed advisory services on people-related matters.
- Lead the seamless execution of the complete employee life cycle, spanning from onboarding procedures to facilitating career advancements and managing exit processes with meticulous attention to detail.
- Serve as the resident Workday expert, ensuring accurate processing of all HR transactions, including payroll management, recruitment activities, and updates to employee records, while adhering to internal compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal support functions, including finance and payroll teams, to ensure the timely and precise execution of key HR operational processes, encompassing payroll management, immigration procedures, insurance administration, and compliance with local employment regulations.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors across the Southeast Asia region, including insurance brokers, recruitment agencies, immigration consultants, and legal representatives, to ensure efficient coordination of services and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Direct the shared service resources to deliver exceptional employee experiences throughout all HR operational processes, including addressing inquiries related to compensation and benefits with professionalism and efficiency.
- Over 8 years of hands-on HR operational experience spanning the Southeast Asia (SEA) region, including proficient management of payroll and employment intricacies across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in all facets of HR operations and processes, with a comprehensive understanding of employment regulations governing the region.
- Demonstrates a proactive and results-driven approach, characterized by independence and a strong work ethic. Committed to being intricately involved in all HR processes to support organizational objectives, readily tackling any tasks required for the seamless functioning of HR operations.
- Possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the establishment of trust and fruitful relationships with diverse stakeholders, including regional and global teams, as well as external vendors and suppliers.
