The HR Reporting & Data Governance Lead is a critical member of the HR Shared Services team that provides direct leadership to 3 HR Reporting team members. This role supports workforce data & reporting for Employee Shared Services with a special focus on our Supply Chain function. It will ensure the right data and metrics are leveraged and available through self-service tools to drive better business decisions and support efforts to standardize and optimize global reports and metrics.

In addition, this role will provide local support to the Workday Services team & will oversee the stand-up of a newly formed HR Business Operations team located in India.

HR Reporting Team Leadership & Support (75%)

  • Provide direct management to reporting team members in India, including coaching, feedback, and performance related conversations.
  • Collaborate with the Reporting Team Leader in the U.S. to set strategy, priorities, and initiatives for the HR Reporting Team
  • Consult with internal customers (emphasis is Supply Chain function) to understand needs and define requirements for reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain project plans for reporting work and ensure stakeholders are kept up-to-date on progress.
  • Design complex reporting solutions utilizing the following Workday reporting tools: Discovery Boards, Worksheets, Prism, and General Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Trended, and Composite Reports).
  • Manage the development and deployment of new or enhanced reporting technologies by following a process of testing, documentation, and change control.
  • Plan, strategize, and execute HR reporting strategies in collaboration with US leadership & recipient stakeholders.
  • Proficiently utilize calculated fields and understand business processes to build accurate reporting solutions.
  • Partner with Workday Security team to ensure reporting tools and data delivery are consistent with General Mills data security and delivery standards.
  • Train users on Workday reporting functions and available reporting tools.
  • Stay current with new Workday reporting functionality and technology advancements.
  • Utilize ServiceNow to manage HR Reporting cases.

HR Business Operations & Workday Services Team Leadership (25%)

  • Partner with US leadership to support HR Business Operations & Workday Services priorities.
  • Provide indirect management of a mixed team of HR Shared Services professionals:

  • Workday Services
  • Indirect local leadership entails supporting culture and local GIC networking, managing employee logistics (professional development, performance management, technology needs), and ensuring alignment with US-based leaders on a regular basis.
  • Support team operations through awareness & reinforcement of key performance indicators (KPIs).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
  • Experience – 5 years of minimum related experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education – Full time graduation in Statistics/BE/IT
  • Experience – 5-7 years of experience preferred

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed

  • 5+ Years working with Workday reporting functionality (Reporting, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, & Prism)
  • Ability to engage and work directly with end users to consult, gather requirements, and develop reporting solutions.
  • Strong experience configuring and supporting Workday and managing configuration to business processes and functionality outside of reporting.
  • General understanding of Workday’s security model and how it impacts end user’s access to data and reports
