Northwinds Services Group is seeking a detail-oriented HR Shared Services Manager for their partner companies based in the Tri-State area. Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development, you will play an integral role in performing tasks required to manage and implement human resource processes including benefits and leave of absences; investigations and corrective actions; performance management; payroll support, change management and morale.
- Integrates new partner companies onto the centralized payroll and benefit platform.
- Establishes relationships with new and existing partner companies to provide outstanding HR support and employee relations guidance.
- Builds relationships with employees so they are comfortable coming to HR for any question, comment, or concern regarding their employment.
- Interacts daily with the corporate HR team to review questions and find solutions as soon as possible to provide timely feedback to employees.
- Partners with management and employees to guide them through the change management process, build morale, and increase engagement.
- Cross-trains with other members of the HR staff to ensure consistent coverage across the organization.
- Responsible for employment-related inquiries referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leader.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Retains a working knowledge of compliance and legal updates
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or equivalent experience
- Three to five years of multi-state human resource management experience is preferred
- Ability to work with and maintain HRIS database, ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
- Flexibility with travel as it relates to visiting newly acquired companies is required
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
