Operating IC model, IC process & system management

• Design & implementation and ongoing optimization of global IC processes E2E, connecting the dots & interdependencies across the whole process chain (Planning, Logistics, OTC, PTP, Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Foreign Trade, Treasury)
• Overseeing the implementation of IC relationship setup between HQ and various Affiliated companies, as well as amongst Affiliated Companies of tesa group
• Governance of the global SAP template & preservation of the key principles of operating model from a process & systems perspective
• Adapting IC processes in line with new business models, new organizational structures, take part in special projects (e.g., M&A and other transformations) as an IC domain owner
• Play a key role in optimizing the operating model & IC processes to be adaptable to internal & external requirements & continue evolving
• Drive automation & staying current with industry developments
• Developing operating processes in IC & ensure the design of the process leads to seamless IC reconciliation/elimination processes from accounting/controlling perspective.
• Design & develop state-of-art IC forecasting processes based on the foundation of solid underlying IC process flows
• Govern the master data components relevant for IC processes & efficiently liaise with corresponding departments
• Establish a solid process documentation of E2E IC processes

Communication, training and coordination

• Acting as a go-to person for all process & design related questions in the IC domain, establishing a center of IC expertise, including addressing the requirements of the regions
• Training and support of relevant teams on intercompany processes
• Creating & recreating an awareness of mutual interdependencies across various units of organizations throughout IC process flows.

Governance, Compliance, audit and documentation

• Responsibility for the demand management process with regards to IC optimizations as a part of the global process owner community. Evaluate, challenge, and decide on new demands in the tesa framework of the Digital Portfolio Governance
• Interact on an eye-to-eye level with the global process owner community
• Develop & track KPIs, Risk controls and relevant compliance frameworks for IC processes
• Act as a go to person for IC related requests for various audit purposes

• Profound knowledge of IC processes in an environment of complex operating models in industrial companies (comparable industry experience is advantageous)
• IC Business Process Architect (Owner) experience (10+ years)
• Team player, highly efficient communicator that can bring various parts of organization together
• Self-starter, “can do” attitude and eager to be passionate in daily work
• Strong governance mindset, deep knowledge of compliance implications on IC processes
• Persuasive, confident, able to manage stakeholders on various management levels
• Solid knowledge of IFRS & accounting principles in the context of IC processes
• English language skills – professional level, German – desired, not a must
• Ability to deliver under pressure & in fast paced environment
