In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L’Oréal’s most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and Middle-East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and also Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs.

In its day-to-day work, BEST pays attention to diversity, the working atmosphere, high employee satisfaction, which is regularly reviewed, and a focus on the development of employees, who are given the opportunity to advance not only vertically but also horizontally.

  • Respect for Group financial standards.
  • Ensure compliance with financial budgets.
  • Development of Financial plans, budgets, and projections for the IT department.
  • Anticipate financial risks and opportunities.
  • Build the plan, budget, and forecast (CAPEX/OPEX) for the IT departments.
  • Be part of the IT finance transformation.
  • Check the correct allocation of expenses.
  • Analyse consistency between budget, actuals, and actions taken by the managers.
  • Ensure expenditures follow-up.
  • Optimise costs and efficiency of activities.
  • Produce the monthly reporting and KPIs.

Alongside experience in a similar role, you should be confident in demonstrating all of the following:

  • Professional knowledge of English.
  • University degree in Finance & Accounting or/and International Business & Economics.
  • Relevant previous experience in financial controlling.
  • Independently manage workload and prioritize appropriately to meet deadlines.
  • Are a team player with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for a common goal.
  • Are always eager to learn more.
  • Proven attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel/ Power BI).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to translate complex data into insightful analysis, understandable to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Experience in SAP, PowerBI, Anaplan, or IBM Cognos tools is considered an advantage.
