I have partnered with a leading global Hedge Fund in their search for an HR Operations Lead. A hands-on role in finding efficient and effective ways of using WorkDay (newly implemented), via revamping processes through to leading implementation projects. There is a wider HR Operations team based out of the UK and USA, with this role reporting directly to the HR Operations Director (UK & EMEA) essentially being their right-hand person on all day-to-day responsibilities and projects.
Fantastic opportunity for someone who is well-versed in WorkDay and has previous experience in fast-paced and international environments. The function is going through a growth trajectory, so there will more than likely be an emphasis on being in the office however the firm is happy to be flexible when appropriate.
- Lead projects that support the HR Operations strategies across EMEA
- Provide support for and lead HR process improvement across efficiency and automation
- Support the HR Operations Director in training and mentoring new and existing HR Operations team members.
- Provide day to day oversight of all HR queries in line with SLAs, escalating appropriately and ensuring SLAs are met with the highest levels of customer service.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to the global workforce for process and technical support of Workday
- Partner with HR Teams and relevant business stakeholders to continuously evaluate and update supported processes, ensuring optimisation
- Ensures internal documentation, guidelines and operating procedures are kept up to date.
- Support the process of mass changes in Workday
- Create, maintain and update procedural documentation, FAQs, tip sheets and how-to guides for HR system and process navigation and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrable experience acting in a player-coach role within an Operations / Shared Services function
- Experience of working in either Financial or Professional Services global matrix organisations
- Strong process, data and systems orientation, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of HR transactional services, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Experience with Workday essential
