Role leads the technology mandate for HR function globally (including group & subsidiaries of Cipla). Role is responsible to drive HR Tech Agenda and lead complete digitization of HR Processes across Employee Life Cycle (Hire till exit), thereby bring in efficiency & employee experience improvement that digitization has to offer.

Drive HR digitization globally to bring better accuracy in HR processes and enabling stakeholders to take decisions backed by data driven insights

  • Lead digitalization implementation projects globally for all people process (Hire to Retire) “ Includes system for HRIS, payroll, time & attendance, learning management, recruitment, onboarding, career & succession planning, performance & rewards.
  • Evaluate and implement Digital 4.0 technologies like chatbot, robotic process automation, AI use cases.
  • Lead roadmap for digitizing insights for people process
  • Benchmark & explore the right fit products available in the market
  • Build and deliver HR Tech roadmap globally
  • Ensure sustainable deployment of technology across entities globally

Ensure robust delivery of various HRTech projects to speed up the process of digitization

  • Define projects, create cross functional project team, lead project governance & reporting of status to sponsors
  • Partner with COE/BU HRs to create business requirement document
  • Follow agile delivery methodology
  • Comprehensive User Testing of systems
  • Project Deployment (Go Live) & stabilization
  • Handover to process owner (CoE/BU HR)

Service existing digital applications to ensure smooth operations and lesser turnaround time

  • Create and manage change requests for all HR applications
  • Prioritize change requests.
  • Consult and implement new functional enhancements in systems that are deployed
  • Diagnosing and fixing errors or issues found by users
  • Proactively diagnosing any system deviation to prevent future problems

Manage external vendors to bring down associated cost and get the best possible outcome

  • Evaluate new Vendors as per Cipla™s Tech needs
  • Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders
  • Manage vendor performance
  • Run tech projects & operations within budgets

Major Challenges

  • Internal Stakeholder Management: Getting buy-ins to make existing and new Projects a success!
  • To increase adoptions, ensure stakeholder availability for training on new technologies
  • Ensuring right fit of digitization as per organizational requirement (policy or process need)
  • Ensuring right fit of globalization and localization in terms of Tech implementation considering one size doesn’t fit all
  • Any deviation from existing agreed Timelines to be quickly mitigated
  • Every technology has limitations mitigate gap between requirement vs what technology has to offer

  • Tech & Outsourcing Partner:  Leadership & account teams from SAP, PeopleStrong, PWC, SteppingCloud, LeenaAI, Tydy, Acuta Technologies and many others

Education

  • MBA (HR) or B.E (with IT background)

Relevant Work Experience

  • Minimum 12 years experience with at least 3+ years of experience in managing HR Technology projects
