In collaboration with YMCA of the USA (YUSA), the YMCA Enterprise Shared Services (YESS) organization will create a long-term sustainable shared services model to service participating YMCA Associations. Its goals include enhancing mission achievement, utilizing advanced data analytics and automation, elevating member experience, and enabling YMCA Associations to prioritize mission-focused initiatives over back office administrative responsibilities to promote efficiency and collaboration within the YMCA network.
The YESS Migration Leader Will Report To The YESS National Leader To Provide Leadership For The Successful Migration Of Transactional Finance And HR Activities Of Participating YMCA Associations Onboarding.
- Provides vision, leadership, and support to YESS Leadership in strategy management and execution.
- Interacts with Senior YMCA Association Leadership before, during, and after migrations efforts.
- Establishes robust project planning processes and oversees their implementation. Provides overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources and related activities.
- Builds, leads, manages, and trains a sizeable staff of 7-11 people
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships within Migration Teams and YESS Leadership for project planning and execution.
- Manages the effective and seamless transition of transactional processes to YESS.
- Directs service operations across migrations efforts, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of Association transition services.
- Proactively addresses and solves transition issues to minimize service disruptions during the YESS Migration operations to promote a positive working environment.
- Leads the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs.
- Facilitates project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, fostering open communication within the team on project planning and execution.
- 10+ years of experience in a client facing role in a shared service capacity required, change management experience is preferred
- 5+ years of YMCA operational experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience building, developing, and leading large teams
- Experience in successfully developing and transitioning new customers into a shared service organization
- Experience in implementing new ERP solutions (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and UKG experience preferred)
- Project management experience
- Functional knowledge of the processes targeted for Finance and Human Resources systems migration
- Demonstrated excellence in communication skills (written, oral) and executive presence
- Ability to lead teams to manage strict deadlines
- Excellent people management skills
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally within the YMCA business workstreams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized
