The LNG Enterprise Sr. Operations Manager – Maintenance it is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the LNG Operations Service Team providing functional expertise to Sempra Infrastructure’s operating facilities and those under development.

• Partner and collaborate with operating facilities in all phases of LNG Plant Maintenance including turn around planning, prescriptive and planned, predictive, risk based, maintenance auditing, maintenance services and contracted maintenance agreements, identifying critical spares, warehouse management, etc.
• Operational cross functional leadership and expertise in reviewing, simplifying and practicalizing complex procedures and training including the ability to integrate international standards and specific regulatory requirements routinely into workflows in an auditable manner.
• Champion the adoption on Best Practices, Safe work Practices, LOTO, MOC etc., across operating facilities, and including across software applications for scheduling, planning, smart procedures, permitting, safe work practices, SAP CMMS, etc., including CMMS evaluation, auditing, and development.
• Technical and maintenance expert resource with the ability to observe and gauge operating facilities and provide unique insight and when necessary, develop and implement solutions to problems the facilities experience.
• Manage and partner with LNG facilities to have a strong working knowledge of USCG regulations, including 33 CFR 127 regulations and USCG inspection processes, and FERC interactions with US operating LNG facilities. Assist and advice US facilities in PHMSA and FERC and USCG audit preparation and during actual inspections as may be required.
• Accountable to develop and oversee OPEX budgets, staffing plans, maintenance plans, etc., for developmental projects, which requires knowledge of the cost components and drivers of LNG facilities., and be a technical and maintenance expert resource to Sempra Infrastructure management.
• Maintain relationships with LNG Operating facilities and industry trade groups and organizations and monitor industry events and trends that may affect Sempra Infrastructure LNG assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in in engineering, business, other related discipline, or equivalent training and/or experience.
• 15+ years of experience maintaining petrochemical plants, LNG facilities, with a progression through to plant management.
• Ability to travel to facilities outside the United States.
• Working understanding of regulatory environment, especially those of the USCG, PHMSA and FERC for US operating facilities.
• Understanding of operational and commercial aspects of LNG Facilities.
• Ability to manage and provide guidance to personnel with varied duties related to LNG Facilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while achieving corporate and project goals.
