The Manager/Director of Shared Services is tasked with the management of the network shared services, specifically transportation, food services, and security. They support our current schools through strategic partnerships with school-based operations teams.
The Manager/Director of Shared Services contributes to the mission of Collegiate Academies and the success of our students through the support of our network and school-based staff. They must be an enthusiastic, passionate, and reliable partner to our schools and a constant model of excellent customer service. - Own relationships with\ contracted transportation, food service & security vendor(s), including establishing optimal staffing models and schedules, defining and communicating expectations and post orders/task lists, addressing performance issues that require escalation to the network and/or management (vendor) level, and providing contract and budgeting input.
- Ensure our vendors (meet or exceed their contractual obligations and performance goals.
- Support campus Directors of Finance and Operations (DFOs) with day-to-day management of their assigned shared service staff.
- Facilitate meaningful collaboration between vendors & schools that produces excellent results for students and teachers.
- Ensure that vendor account information is up to date at all times in the CA Vendor database.
- Collect the data we need to evaluate all major Fixed/Shared Expenses.
- Hold vendors accountable to meet all contractual requirements.
- Develop, track and communicate appropriate metrics to measure and manage the quality of contracted services.
- Monitor and manage budgeted and actual expenditures for assigned categories.
- Perform regular assessments of campus shared services gathering not only first-hand impressions but also input from DFOs, School Leaders, and other campus-based staff.

- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in the face of competing demands and external pressures. Able to have difficult conversations respectfully.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred, project planning experience a plus.
