This position leads the financial and accounting operations for the Philippines. There is a direct reporting line to the International Financial Controller, however the position also supports the Country Head of the Philippines. The position has responsibility for financial reporting, accounting, compliance, treasury, tax and policies & procedures.

• Managing the accounting department and Finance function.
• Managing the monthly financial and Board reporting.
• Preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and annual reports.
• Ensuring compliance to statutory law, finance, and tax regulations. Liaise with tax officers and other regulatory bodies.
• Overseeing Treasury and Taxation functions.
• Managing external banking relationships.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Solving technical accounting issues.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end financial audits.
• Oversee Financial Systems and external providers of systems management and system upgrades.
• Managing & upgrading Internal Financial Controls.
• Team Management including mentoring and staff development. Foster a collaborative and high-performing accounting and finance team.
• Provides annual budget information; monitors expenditures; identifies variances; implements corrective actions.
• Working closely with Executive Leadership team to deliver reports, analysis findings, potential risk areas and forecast opportunities.
• Monitor the annual budget, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives. Implement cost control measures and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Oversight of shared service center finance positions working in Manila but servicing other geographies.
• Renew business insurance by scheduling values including personal and real property, vehicles, computers, equipment, media, and accounts receivable.

• 10+ years accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive work environment.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within finance and accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelors or Masters qualifications in Business.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA is preferred.
