The Manager of Financial Shared Services is responsible for overseeing the organization’s centralized functions that include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit (i.e., shared services center). This role involves managing the transaction processes, maintaining proper internal controls, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit functions.
  • Supervise the shared services center staff and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Identify, research, and resolve items/issues impacting the shared services center.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, government regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver shared services metrics to management.
  • Collaborate with other functions to resolve issues.
  • Assist with financial audit preparation and audit process.
  • Ad-hoc reporting to support company operations.
  • Assist other team members to complete strategic projects/assignments.
  • Assist the Controller(s) and CFO in financial planning and analysis activities.
  • All other duties as assigned and customary.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Combination of Experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience

  • 5+ years of progressing experience in managing Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit management principles and practices.
  • Advanced computer skills/abilities required including ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cross functionally.
