Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will bring experience leading the whole of employee life cycle, organisational capability, support and processes. Reporting to the Director – People and Shared Services, this position supervises the People team, employee relations, learning and organisational development, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, safety and wellbeing.
You will bring a track record of strategic leadership and achievements in the management of a broad range of people and wellbeing strategies, preferably from within the community / not for profit sector.
The principal areas of responsibility include providing essential support and expert advice to managers and staff on all HR and wellbeing issues, as well as cultivating collaborative partnerships with managers to grasp their operational requirements. Additionally, the role significantly contributes to shaping the HR strategy and participates in formulating and executing the HR operational plan to achieve strategic objectives.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, industrial/ employment law, or relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in an HR role, preferably within the community and/or community legal sector
- Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, and Safety and Wellbeing practices
- Demonstrated experience in the creation and implementation of compliant, contemporary and best practice Human Resources and Safety & Wellbeing policies and processes, with a keen eye for detail
